#EliteGirls
About 15 years ago I have started supporting the Girl Movement in Wrestling. I was teamed with motivated female athletes that have pioneered the wrestling many are experiencing today. It wasn’t common to wrestle like today, but the girls were serious and they trained to be Champions. Back then the opportunities were minimal but enough to be important and the principles to succeed were the same for boys and girls. We provided a friendly family environment that judged on merit not gender. I’ve always felt the boys make the girls better in the later stages and girls make the boys better in the early stages. Together they all get better. We have enough girls in our High School Class that all girls wrestle girls unless by choice they choose not to. Once a week we offer All Girls Class for those of you that prefer that environment.
